Need Your Help
Contributions from you keep homeless children and their
parents together, gives families a sense of stability,
a safe place to sleep, and hope for the end of homelessness.
We must raise thousands of dollars every year to continue
providing service to homeless families, and we need lots
of volunteers.
Every dollar can be used to sponsor something specific;
e.g. a bed for a month; or rental of the day center foray
Center. Would you like to sponsor a month? Donate a birthday
month to honor a family member or friend as gift.
You
can help RAIHN with:
Financial
/ Monetary Contributions
RAIHN provides a wide variety of services to homeless families in the Greater
Rochester area. The services that our volunteers provide are very cost-effective.
yet, it does take monetary contributions to run our services including the transport
van, the day center, and coordination of the host & supporting faith communities
that serve the guest families in the RAIHN program.
 Every
penny counts!

You will receive a written confirmation of your donation for tax purposes.

First, we do have a specific "wish list" of goods and services that we need. Currently,
we are in a start-up mode, so we are really in need of some very specific items.

If you think that you may have an item
that we could use to run the RAIHN
program please call us or e-mail us, or simply fill-out the In-Kind form
and we can pick-up the item from you.
Volunteer
Your Time
You can volunteer
your time in several ways.
If you are currently volunteering
your time to the RAIHN program in any capacity, be sure to go to the forms page or directly open the volunteer
form so
we can keep track of hours that you've committed to RAIHN.
- Each
of the HOSTING and SUPPORTING faith communities in
the RAIHN program have their own team of volunteers.
You may already be aware of the RAIHN program through
your own faith community. If not, check
this list
of those organizations that are providing hosting
and support for the guests of RAIHN. Contact information
for each of these organizations is provided HERE.
- RAIHN
Volunteers provide meals, assistance to the Director,
assistance to the families, drive the van, speak to
groups about the program, raise money, cover the Day
Center on weekends, and lend compassionate support
among other things. Just send us an e-mail or give us a
call to find out more about our volunteer opportunities.
- If
you live within 30 miles of Rochester, there are probably
volunteer opportunities in your own community. To
